tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow…

creeps in this petty pace from day to day…

“the bard”

and so it begins. and ends. my life in veterinary medicine will cease and a new career will take over. after 5 years of trying to get in, i’m in at the very large city library system that is NOT easy to get hired into and the competition is extremely fierce… it’s nyc and the demand is low from such a large pool. so, after getting some interview coaching, having my resume and cover letter professionally done, after signing up for tons of CE in the library field, countless application submissions and 4 interviews in a short amount of time (some done with little sleep because i’m currently working the overnight shift at the hospital), i’m officially employed as a Librarian :-).

i’m excited, nervous, and surprisingly sad at leaving the veterinary nursing field. i end my career having worked at one of the best ER/Specialty hospitals on the east coast… maybe even the country…

and i’ll be starting my Librarian career at one of the best known, largest library systems in the country. i’m proud of myself for not giving up. onward and forward…
